to the Machias Historical Society

Your support makes a difference!  The Machias Historical Society presents the Margaretta Days Festival each year.  Festival admission is free to the public because of you!  We also participate in the commemoration of the Battle of Machias (the Rim) in August.   Your donation supports these important events as well as the Revolutionary War Reenactors of Downeast Maine, whose reenactments enhance our events.  They also carry our history far and wide by appearing in films, marching in local parades and very important visits to our local schools.
