The Machias Historical Society is excited to announce the 2025 Margaretta Days Festival, and we are inviting you to purchase an ad in this year’s commemorative full-color magazine.  Your ad will be displayed during the Festival, and throughout Washington, Hancock and Penobscot counties.  This year's publication celebrates the 250th anniversary of the beginning of the American Revolution.  

The 19th Annual Margaretta Days Festival will be held Friday and Saturday, June 20 and 21,  2025 at the Event Center of West Branch Farms in Machias.  We honor the history of the American Revolution in Downeast Maine by remembering the Battle of the Margaretta, the first Naval Battle of the Revolution, in which Machias patriots captured and commandeered the British vessel, HMS Margaretta.

Your advertising dollars help the Machias Historical Society defray the costs of providing a free, educational, fun event for the public.  The ads are an excellent buy for the quality of the ad and effective distribution of your advertisement.

The deadline for receipt of ads and instructions from you is March 10, 2025.  Please respond as quickly as possible.  We want to ensure there is room in the magazine for your ad!  First come, first served.
